Alastair Wilson

Alastair joined Tait Walker in September 2011 as a taxation partner from one of the ‘Big 4’ accountancy firms.

Alastair’s role includes providing a broad range of tax services to the region’s companies and their shareholders including assisting companies with their tax compliance and providing advice on tax efficient structures, mergers & acquisitions and tax efficient profit extraction by shareholders.

Alastair believes that the key to good tax advice is adding value to a business, either through mitigating tax costs, generating tax refunds or by turning tax assets into realised value.  Alastair has a wealth of experience of helping North East businesses to add value to their activities by using the provisions of the UK’s tax legislation to their advantage.
