Michael Smith

Michael is a Chartered Accountant and designated Corporate Finance Partner. Michael has practised Corporate Finance in the North East of England for over 20 years and as a result he has built up a strong network of contacts across funders, lawyers and ambitious clients. Michael recently won the prestigious award of Insider Dealmaker of the Year 2010 and 2011.

Michael was previously with Ernest & Young Corporate Finance for 11 years and started Tait Walker Corporate Finance in 2000. Michael is also a non-executive director of the North East Regional Investment Fund and RTC North.
