A Typical Overview of Your Year-end Accounts & Audit Process


Audit Planning
  • Discuss areas of risk or concern with  the management.
  • Consider impact of new SORP rules.
  • Agree timetable of each of our mutual responsibilities.

Audit/Examination
  • Undertake detailed audit work.
  • Prepare SORP compliant draft accounts
  • Liaise with the management to ascertain closing fund balances
  • Feedback to management key issues on a timely basis.

Post Audit
  • Pass draft accounts to management for review.
  • Discuss and agree any proposed audit adjustments.
  • Prepare a detailed management letter setting out the areas of risk or concern.
  • Attendance at AGM
  • Finalise the accounts and file at Companies House (where applicable).
