A Typical Overview of Your Year-end Accounts and Audit Process

Audit Planning

Discuss areas of risk or concern with  the committee. Consider impact of new Industrial & Provident Society rules. Agree timetable of each of our mutual responsibilities.

Audit

Undertake detailed audit work. Prepare compliant draft accounts Feedback to the committee key issues on a timely basis.

Post Audit

Pass draft accounts to management for review. Discuss and agree any proposed audit adjustments. Prepare a detailed management letter setting out the areas of risk or concern. Attendance at AGM Finalise the accounts and file at Companies House (where applicable).
