Celebrating 75 years...

In 2012, Tait Walker celebrated our 75^th year in business by launching a 12 month fundraising campaign for some of the region’s charities.

In a bid to give something back to the North East community which has served us so well over the past eight decades, staff organised a number of events and exciting challenges in a bid to raise £75,000.

The three main organisations we chose to support were Great North Air Ambulance, Tiny Lives and Macmillan Cancer Support, but other local charities also received donations across the year.

We are delighted to announce that, at the end of the fundraising year, we not only reached our goal of £75,000 but we far exceeded it.  The final total raised was £95,294 and we would like to thank everyone who supported us to make this possible.
