Specials Clinical Manufacturing opens for business
The Specials Clinical Manufacturing celebrated its official launch on Friday 26th November with the unveiling of its state-of-the-art, purpose built £1.8 million manufacturing facility.
Guests were treated to a first look at the company’s brand new headquarters with a series of talks and tours from managing director Fiona Cruickshank and technical director Brian J Dougherty.
Industry figure Professor Heinz Wolff also attended the event to add his seal of approval to Specials Clinical Manufacturing by declaring the new facility open for business.
“I am very impressed with the professionalism and experience of the team here at Specials Clinical Manufacturing,” said Professor Heinz Wolff.
“What Fiona (Cruickshank) and Brian (Dougherty) have established here is something quite unique. They already have a very successful company in The Specials Laboratory and I’m confident they will achieve the same success with Specials Clinical Manufacturing.”
The new facility has been designed to provide comprehensive clinical trial manufacturing and packaging services for Phase I, Phase II and Phase III studies.
