Renown Group engineers another acquisition
Graham Dotchin and Steve Plaskitt were lead advisors to Renown Engineering Limited as they acquired PJ Engineering Products Limited.
As part of the groups expansion, Renown identified the need to acquire a complimentary engineering business to complete their existing offering and provide much needed additional capacity to satisfy growing customer orders. Tait Walker Corporate Finance helped identify a target, preparing financial forecasts, securing funding and assisting throughout the negotiation process
The deal was unique to Tait Walker Corporate Finance as they were also appointed to advise the vendors in the deal. Strictly adhered to ‘Chinese Walls’ were implemented and agreed upon between all parties.
The deal was funded through John Savage at GE Capital. Tony Wentworth and David Lucas of Jacksons provided legal advice.
