Investment firm seeking acquisition

We have been approached by an entrepreneurial investment firm seeking to acquire a small to medium sized business in the region. Key investment criteria are as follows:

• Typically owner managed businesses where the major shareholder/operator is seeking an exit.
• Industry sector is flexible but growth markets are preferred.  Niche manufacturing and testing and measurement / inspection businesses are of particular interest.
• Businesses should be profitable with revenues up to£15m and annual EBITDA of £1m to £3m.

The investor is seeking to grow its acquisitions over the long term rather than looking to exit within 3-5 years as would be the case with a traditional private equity investor.

Funds are available to move quickly for the right opportunity and the terms of the investment can be tailored to suit the target and its shareholders.
