Forensic is defined as ‘used or applied in the investigation and establishment of facts or evidence in a court of law.’
Our dedicated Forensic Services Team provide a complete service from start to finish, with the highest standard of case management, to ensure Expert evidence is admissible and will withstand the scrutiny of Court proceedings.
Our combination of accounting, investigative and business knowledge is indispensable in providing litigation support and ultimately, dispute resolution.
We are experienced in providing Expert reports which are fully compliant with Court Procedure Rules, to support businesses, individuals, public and regulatory bodies, in all types of legal proceedings.
In cases with complex accounting matters we can provide direction and support to legal professionals in the early stages of case development, to assist in identifying key areas of work, advising on additional matters for consideration and focusing the scope of an engagement as a result.
The input of a forensic accountant in the early stage of a case enables costs to be controlled and manages client expectations of the work and timescales required.
Our Expert work is fully compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules and Part 19 of the Criminal Procedure Rules, and in accordance with ICAEW’s Code of Ethics and Guidance from the Civil Justice Council.
