OUR COMMUNITY

In 2016
we helped to raise
£14,500
for local charities.
Our team have worked to support local charities, the Great North Snowdogs Campaign and provide local schools and youth sports teams with clothing and equipment.

Our flagship project during 2016 was the Great North Snowdogs.

Our snowdog, Addam Upright, was auctioned and raised
£4,000
for St Oswald’s Hospice.

As part of our ongoing efforts, our committee organises a number of charity events each year that help to support our local charities and community projects. The team selects four main charities to be the focus of our events and assists various community projects with Volunteer Me, which is supported by the RM.

We will also be supporting one-off charity events along the way – like the Macmillan “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” – and helping schools and sporting clubs with buying kit supplies and other equipment.

Check out our Facebook page for details of any events that you can get involved with.
